KCLA is a Community Body recognised by Scottish Ministers for purposes of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, The Association wishes to bring the bowl of land which is centered on Kinghorn Loch, and which determines the essential character of this environment, into an integrated and balanced set of uses with high standards of stewardship, using where appropriate the Community Right to Buy estasblished in the Act.

Notes

We are a community based organisation with more than 100 members from the Kinghorn community, plus others from beyond the Town. In 2007, we successfully gained Ministerial approval for 19 Registrations of Community Interest at and around Kinghorn Loch. We are currently embarked on a feasibility study to prepare the Association to buy, improve and manage land as and when owners decide to sell.
