Award winners for May are announced
Iain Goodbrand - Craigie Local Food Project (Kirkliston)
A gardening enterprise working with ex-offenders and people with disabilities to provide them with horticultural training and support opportunties as well as developing a sustainable local food project that adopts an environmentally aware approach to growing.
Craigie Food Project has received £3,250 from the Social Entrepreneurs Fund
Helen Young - Taste of Home (Fife)
A Fife based home-cooked meals on wheels project aimed at providing nutritional meals to disabled and elderly citizens within the local Fife community.
Taste of Home has received £3,850 from the Scotland UnLtd fund.
Katharine Douglas - Flexible Working for Women (Perthshire)
Aims to support women with young children back into flexible work by helping them develop the confidence and skills they need for job hunting.
Flexible Working for Women has received £2,923 from the Scotland UnLtd fund.
Sally Gingell - Kirkmichael Community Shop (Perthshire)
A project aimed at ensuring the village community is kept alive by keeping the village shop open which will provide jobs and ensure essential services are not lost, eg post office and filling station.
Kirkmichael Community Shop has received £2,985 from the Scotland UnLtd fund.
