  • Daisy Ford-Downes – Head of Group Investment Programmes Leading the Investment Team at Firstport Group, Daisy oversees repayable funding and investment readiness programs. Her diverse background includes roles at Deloitte, Scottish Enterprise Growth Investments, and Foundation Scotland. Daisy holds a Masters in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship, and is both a Chartered Accountant and Responsible Finance Clore Fellow. She’s passionate about innovative finance and its potential to nurture early-stage businesses.
  • Renae – Relationship Manager Renae supports social enterprises in becoming investment-ready through the LaunchMe programme. With hands-on experience as a social entrepreneur, she founded Made in Midlothian, an arts-based Community Interest Company supporting local artists. Her diverse background in social enterprise, arts, and business support uniquely positions her to provide tailored workshops, effective signposting, and bespoke one-to-one support to accelerate established social enterprises on their journey to investment readiness.
