Matt has an extensive background in social enterprise and community business, having co-founded and led two organisations in the Health and Wellbeing and Grocery Retail industries.
Matt has an extensive background in social enterprise and community business, having co-founded and led two organisations in the Health and Wellbeing and Grocery Retail industries. He is a Firstport alumnus, having participated in their Build It and Launch Me programmes.
Currently working in Economic Development, Matt is passionate about supporting the creation and growth of businesses, particularly those with a strong social purpose. He serves as the Programme Manager for East Lothian’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
In addition to his work in social enterprise, Matt has a background in technology, where he held both commercial and operational roles. His experiences position him as a key advocate for innovation and socially conscious business development.
