Are you passionate about supporting social enterprises to grow and make a lasting impact? Do you have a keen eye for financial analysis and investment assessment experience? If so, this may be the role for you.

As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in delivering our repayable investment programmes, working with ambitious social enterprises seeking investment to scale their impact. You’ll work closely with the Head of Group Investment Programmes and Investment Manager, assisting throughout the investment process—from assessing applications to supporting funded enterprises and managing repayments.

In addition, you will assist in the preparation of reports for the board and key stakeholders, support awareness raising of funding opportunities, and represent the team at external meetings and events.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have a background in finance, or investment, along with the ability to assess investment applications and provide strategic insights. Experience and understanding of early-stage companies or social enterprise is an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment assessment and portfolio management, while supporting ambitious social enterprises to thrive.

We are a flexible employer open to flexible working requests that help employees balance their lives. You can find more information about this, our culture, and values in the Working at Firstport document.
